I have had no time to get any posts together lately partly due to weather (shoots), lack of sewing materials, and because I have been working too much. I am a server at a restaurant downtown and about a week ago guess who happened to be seated in my section... Twiggy! The one and only. She was extremely nice even though a few embarassing mix ups involving bottles of wine happened at her table. I acted like I had no idea who she was until the very end when I wrote "Thanks Twiggy!" on her check. And I wasn't going to do this at first (I don't like to cause a fuss when famous people come into my work) but I decided to snag a photo with her.
My latest project was fixing up these daisy printed bloomers I got from a shop called Little Brooklyn Vintage for $5. They were pretty big and very long. I don't know how appropriate they are for public because I think they are pajamas, but I will wear them anyway.
